About PDF

PDF stands for Portable Document Format, a format developed by Adobe to trade documents between different kinds of computers and printers and to transmit documents over the internet. Documents saved as PDFs are usually smaller in file size than the originals and can retain the original typefaces, colors, and images.

To view and print PDFs you need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software installed for your particular computer. Just follow Adobe’s easy instructions for installation.

To use the Acrobat Reader to fill out applications and other documents, just open the document like a normal web page. Type in the required information in the fields provided. Then print out the form, sign it if necessary, and mail it to the appropriate office at Aquinas Institute of Theology.
